This bowl was wheel thrown and altered. The interior is glazed clear and the exterior is bare clay with stains to accent the hand modeled elements.
I love the look of fabric being pulled and stretched. There is a beautiful tension that is can be seen, and I wanted to recreate that tension in clay, and create an object that someone can interact with closely.
