Such a delicious color of Ruby Cranberry Fuchsia, these beads are antique French beads, traded into Africa. They date back as far as the 1500's. These have been newly strung on twine. Such a beautiful rich color! They are called "White Hearts" because they are made of two layers of glass; they have a "white heart" underneath a ruby red outer layer.
This listing is for 1 strand of beads. Beads measure approximately 3-4mmx2mm, and size does vary some. The strand is strung in a loop, they way they are traditionally strung, approximately 23.5" long (20.5" of beads with 3" of twisted twine at the top).
Break them apart and make some tribal magic of your own!
These beads are old; they date back as early as the early 1500's and originated from Europe. They do show some dirt and minor chips on some of the edges, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age.
