The ultimate in rare Boy Scouts collectables, these field glasses were made for the scouts by Marchand of Paris France circa 1920s and are nearly impossible to find. The binoculars are in used but fair condition with some wear from use, paint chips, interior dust between the lenses, and one small dent in the rim of one side. That said they really are a thing of beauty and wonderful design. They actually still work and magnify quite well, and the focus adjustment moves smoothly. The Marchand Paris marks are clear at the eye piece and the "Boy Scouts" and "Woodcraft" marks on the barrels are also clearly visible. Overall a great and rare piece of scouting history.
