We've updated this tri fold room divider or privacy screen with hand-dyed indigo Shibori panels. The oak bentwood screen dates back to around 1890, showcasing nice curves and brass fittings. The brass is worn (see images). The screen has had a couple of the original screws replaced but is in very good vintage condition. We created the panels using a Nui Shibori technique, where the cotton bubble gauze fabric was folded and hand-stitched with a zigzag pattern. The result is the lovely diamond pattern you see here in varying shades of indigo. You can see images of the process on our Instagram feed!
Dimensions: folds up to 63.5"h x 23.5"w. Each of the three panels is 19"wide. The center panel is 63.5" tall and the 2 outside panels measure 58.25"h.
