Our newest circle art blocks look great on their own or in a group. We love how the circular shape feels like looking through a porthole at the world beyond or a looking glass zooming in on a beautiful image. Prop them just about anywhere or hang with a single finishing nail - a small hole drilled in the back allows for easy hanging but these are also light enough to hang with double-sided tape if you prefer. Mix and match circle art blocks with our panoramic style art blocks, as shown in the last photograph above.
We make our art blocks using a process that involves manually transferring the pigments of an archival print onto wood. We are recycling new 1/2" thick birch plywood scraps left over from the construction of our studio workshop to make these. Because the process is unpredicable and the image never transfers perfectly, each resulting piece ends up with small, random imperfections that give the image a great vintage or weathered look. No two pieces turn out exactly alike so each is one of a kind! Keep in mind when ordering that your piece will have it's own unique weathered effect.
